What is a ceramic coatings?
A Ceramic (or glass) Coating is a paint protectant which serves as a sacrificial layer to protect your vehicle’s paint. These coatings have replaced traditional waxes and other sealants, as they have proven to be much more durable when applied properly. These coatings are made from materials that are more durable than the polymers found in traditional sealants and waxes giving you a more durable, longer-lasting protection. In addition to forming a very strong bond with the clear coat finish, a coating is generally much thicker than a wax or sealant, creating a sacrificial layer that will easily give years of protection when properly applied. The thickness gives it a great depth of gloss that’s hard to achieve with other products.
What is a Ceramic Coating?

Types of Coatings
BC-08
Modesta BC-08 is an organic paint coating with traces of zirconium that create a beautiful shine and luster on the paint while it’s three-dimensional matrix ensures excellent water repellency and self-cleaning. The coating’s thick layer acts as a self-scarifying barrier to protect the finish of the vehicle from scratches and marring as well as adverse environmental effects. Modesta BC-08 can provide up to 3 years of protection with proper care.
BC-X
BC-X is Modesta’s middle option for the protection of your vehicle. Placed between BC-08 and other coatings of our range, it offers excellent cost to performance ratio of the whole line. BC-X will improve the shine, gloss and overall look of your vehicle on the painted parts and refresh and protect plastic parts as well. Its exceptional hydrophobic water behavior will help to keep your vehicle clean for weeks with minimal maintenance requirements.
BC-04
Modesta BC-04 is an extremely durable, organic pure glass coating that reflects light with specific wavelengths, producing an instant luminous shine and deep gloss. This unique paint coating contains photo-catalyzing agents that produce active oxygen when exposed to UV rays, thus preventing the attachment of contaminants to ensure ease of maintenance. When cared for properly, Modesta BC-04 can provide 5 – 10 years of protection.
BC-05
Modesta BC-05 is a unique glass coating based on a three-dimensional molecular frame. It forms a highly durable clear hard glass layer on automotive paints. BC-05 produces a deep shine and helps to protect the paint from all kinds of damage including wash-induced damages, scratches, oxidation, sap, watermarks, salts, acids and even permanent ink and paints. It’s strong water-repellent properties also promote the self-cleaning effects. BC-05 produces an unique kind of gloss called the “candy-like” gloss
BC-06
Modesta BC-06 is a hard glass coating with a tightly packed molecular structure that is specifically formulated for high temperatures to create a long-lasting surface. This particular coating can withstand heat up to 2,372°F—a great option for wheels, exhaust tips, and brake calipers.
BC-M
BC-M is a coating solution designed specifically for matte and satin surfaces, automotive paints as well as wraps and films. The application of the coatinf provides excellent protection to matte surfaces with minimal added shine and enhanced saturation.

EPC
The Modesta Exterior Plastic Coating is a unique blend of ingredients restoring uncoated exterior plastic parts of automobiles and other vehicles, by adding saturation and color depth.
